Little Impressions - Horsham

Hi, my name is Heather and I am part of Little Impressions … we create casts of baby hands and feet … a great way of capturing the precious little folds and creases of small hands and feet.

The ‘impression’ process is very straightforward. A typical appointment lasts about 30 minutes, during which the child’s hand/foot is pressed into soft clay – this is not uncomfortable in any way and takes only a few seconds.

The impression is used to create the cast which is then mounted and framed – we have many traditional and contemporary colour choices including blues, pinks and neutral colours. The solid oak frames also come in a variety of finishes.

Each impression is handcrafted and unique. It takes about 4 weeks from taking the impression to returning the finished, framed cast to you. This gives us time to make the frames and ensure the cast itself is of the highest quality.

If you wish to see some actual finished casts then please do contact me to arrange a mutually convenient time – there is no obligation to book an appointment – it’s just that many people say the real thing looks so much better than in the pictures. There are also samples up in the ante-natal waiting room at Horsham Hospital.
