It’s Back… And it’s Bigger and Better!
Saturday 4 September – 9am to 4pm Horsham Town Centre
IF you haven't put Saturday 4 September in your diary, now is the time to do it! If you love food and drink and are particularly passionate about local produce - IT'S A MUST! You really don’t want to miss out on this year’s legendary Big Nibble. The one day event is part of the month long Horsham District Food and Drink Festival, which runs from 4 September to 3 October.
With many fantastic events happening all over the District as part of the Festival, The Big Nibble is the most hotly anticipated event on the calendar! It always attracts thousands to the town with overwhelming crowds and many producers selling out, having to make emergency trips to replenish their stocks. Visitors can look forward to a huge farmers market, with a diverse mix of local producers offering freshly baked breads, fresh fruit and vegetables and salads, eggs, chocolates, preserves, meats, fish, pastas, cheeses and much more. There will also be demonstrations happening at the Carfax kitchen throughout the day, seeing local chefs doing what they do best - all with local produce! Sample some of the dishes they create and take away recipe sheets to recreate what you’ve witnessed.
Why not experience the Horsham Beer Trail involving many of the town centre pubs? Just pick up a commemorative mini beer trail tankard and set off for a journey, visiting many of the town centre’s most diverse watering holes and sampling some of the finest beers that Horsham pubs have to offer. Sample all those beers you thought you might never try in all those pubs you never think about going into. The cost? It’s £1. Yes… a quid!
