Fiat Cheapy-Cento

Anyone who has driven by New Street Cars in recent weeks will be forgiven for thinking that it was time for a check up at the opticians, having seen a car up for sale for just £1.
But taking pride of place in front of the garage is indeed a wonderful yellow Fiat Cinquecento, with a price tag of £0001.

The car - practically guaranteed future classic status - is the star prize in a raffle which will raise money for Chestnut Tree Children’s hospital.
The one pound raffle tickets are available now from the garage, but the Fiat, which has been well maintained by its one previous owner and has just £50,000 miles on the clock, will be placed in Swan Walk shopping centre from April 4th.

The winner will be drawn at the Piazza Italia Festival in Horsham, during which a number of original Fiat 500 cars will be visiting the town, on Saturday, April 11th.
Nikhil Bhola, pictured below (right) with Ash Bhola, said: “We are always looking for ways to give something back to the community. Not only does it promote us as a business, but it raises vital funds for local causes.

“I don’t think enough businesses do this at the moment. The current economic climate is difficult but you can always find a way to offer something back to the community.
“We weren’t necessarily looking to join in with the Italia Piazza Festival fundraising. We went to the Swan

Walk management with a proposal to raise money for charity and it transpired that it tied in nicely with what was planned for the festival.

“I really hope this can make a lot of money for the hospice. It’s just a pound and it’s such a great little car. We’ll have it looking immaculate and someone will drive off with the best deal ever!
The car and New Street Garage representatives will be at Swan walk from April 4-12th with raffle tickets.
