Three local mums are aiming to raise £6,000 for charity through a series of fundraising events and endeavours.
Julia Rigby, Denise Moyniham and Hilary Porter were out during Halloween (above) and raised £166 for Action Medical Research. They are also raising funds for Round Table Children’s Wishes.
The trio have organised a number of events, culminating in a trek up Mount Etna, Sicily, in September 2010.
This Saturday they are hosting a Charity Jumble Sale and Good-As-New Sale at the Scout Hut, Church Lane, Southwater from 12-2pm.
Jumble can be dropped off at the hut on Friday (6-8pm) and Saturday from 9am. Entry is 20p.
