It was a bit rainy yesterday in Horsham but we battled on - thanks to all who braved the weather!
Sorry to all our regular Carfax customers that missed the bread,
poor Slinden bakery suffered a breakdown on the way to the market and despite a galiant effort to get a replacement van, they didn't make it. They'll be back next however.

Who - Toos Jeuken from Laines Farm, Cuckfield.
What - seasonal organic fruit and vegetables that she has been growing for some 34 years (she has been selling from the Carfax market for over ten years now).
Why - "I started selling on farmers markets as I knew I could provide much fresher, better produce directly to more ecologically minded customers."
Where - You can find Toos in the Morning Produce area of the Carfax market, just the other side of Panino's tables and chairs
When - every Saturday, come rain or shine
Best bit - Toos often picks her produce just a couple of hours before she displays it on her stall.
Worst bit - She often sells out early in the afternoon - catch her in the morning or lunchtime to avoid disappointment!
