Bluecoats is proud to be sponsoring this fantastic event once again on the 25th September.
The Barns Green Half Marathon & 10k, is run on closed roads through the beautiful Sussex countryside, passing through the historic Christ’s Hospital school, where the School’s Famous marching band will be playing. There is also a jazz band at the start/finish and four other bands along the route. Along the route there are water stations, distance markers, marshals and of course the support of all the locals and spectators. A medal and goody bag for each finisher, secure baggage storage and free parking.
All proceeds from the race are donated back to the local community.
This is the 34th year that the race has been held and is recognised for being extremely well organised and won a Runners World award in 2012.
