A two in one glam rock spectacular... David Bowie- A Hero For More Than One Day and The Glitter Band will be performing at Horshams Rugby Club in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The first half of the show features the David Bowie tribute fronted by Stephen Foster, performing all of David Bowies biggest hits from his extensive career from the likes of Space Oddity, Changes, Starman, Jean Genie, Rebel Rebel to Fame, Heroes, Ashes To Ashes, Under Pressure, Lets Dance and Absolute Beginners. A journey through the chameleon of rocks unforgettable back catalogue. A must see for all big David Bowie fans. There will be a few album gems thrown in too.
The second half of the show will feature original 70s glam rock legends 'THE GLITTER BAND'. Their career started in 1972 as a backing band for Gary Glitter however, in 1974 the band released their first album without Gary and had several hits in their own right... their biggest hits included Angel Face, Lets Get Together Again, Goodbye My Love, Just For You, The Tears I Cried, People Like You And People Like Me and Love In The Sun. The Glitter Band were regulars on Top Of The Pops throughout the 70s and are still rocking today.
The evening will be compered by local comedian John O' Sullivan.
This is an evening of glam rock entertainment not to be missed and it's for a great cause. So dust off those 70's platforms and flares and come along for a glam stomping evening.
