Counted Method of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Iriness Yoga & Wellbeing - New Street
Feb. 22, 2020 | 10 a.m.
This 2h30m workshop aims at practising the Sanskrit counted method of Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. This method is designed to focus and still the mind, bringing practitioners to the next level of practice – meditation in motion. We’ll focus on counting the Standing sequences as well as Primary series (Yoga Chikitsa), learning to create a meditative flow of Sanskrit, Ujjayi breath, mind and movement.
We will work in a group of max 10, which will be split into pairs.
This workshop is ideal for the current Iriness students, who have been practising for at least 33 months regularly or/and any other Ashtanga yoga practitioners interested in exploring the counted method.
