About The Capitol Box Office:

As part of our plans to future-proof our much-loved Horsham venue, The Capitol is temporarily closed until November 2026 for a major refurbishment. During this time, we’re carrying out essential maintenance alongside a full refresh of key areas to enhance both your experience and the overall look and feel of the building.

Shaped by valuable customer feedback, the improvements include a refreshed bar area and box office, upgraded toilet facilities (including a new Changing Places space), brand new seating in both the auditorium and cinema screens, a modern heating and cooling system, and vital repairs to our multiple roofs. This investment will help protect The Capitol’s heritage while creating a more accessible, sustainable and comfortable space for everyone in the Horsham district to enjoy.

Although our doors are closed, we’ll be keeping you updated throughout the refurbishment with regular news, behind-the-scenes content and progress updates. Make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list and following us on social media to stay in the loop.

We’re delighted to confirm that we’ll reopen in time for our 2026 pantomime, Dick Whittington, with tickets already on sale—so your festive family tradition is firmly in place!

In the meantime, you can still visit us in person at our temporary Box Office in Swan Walk Shopping Centre, Horsham. Located in Unit 43 between Roman and Gobsmack Comics, it’s the perfect place to book tickets, ask questions or simply stay connected with The Capitol during the refurbishment.

Our Swan Walk Box Office is open Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 1pm. You can also reach us by phone on 01403 750220, with lines open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4.30pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
