The Horsham District Jobs and Skills Fair, organised by Horsham District Council, returns this year with more exhibitors than ever before, many from new and different sectors.
On 19 September some 40 organisations will be at Horsham’s Drill Hall in Denne Road, Horsham with hundreds of employment, voluntary, training, and apprenticeship opportunities on offer.
The Jobs and Skills Fair will run from 11am to 3pm and is sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses with support from Horsham Jobcentre Plus, The District Post and Collyer’s College.
Over the past three years the Fair has seen some 130 employers offer nearly 1500 opportunities to job hunters and students and the events have been visited by over 1400 people. Not only that, within weeks of these events, hundreds of people have found a new positon or a new career path, as well as receiving plenty of advice about careers and job searching.
