About this event
Emerging from the restraints of her convent education, free-spirited Jeanne looks forward to all the comforts and liberty her wealthy home in rural 19th century Normandy can offer.
But the expectations of French society intervene and Jeanne soon finds her future controlled by men who are at best negligent and at worst cruel.
Over 20 years, Jeanne’s life tragically spirals until she finally finds love and hope from an unexpected source.
