The club will be hosting a free-to-attend “Evening with….” event in the CWCS clubhouse on Thursday 18th April, starting at 7:30pm.
Compered by matchday ‘greeter’ Chris Holmes, Hornets fan Lee Wellings will be talking about his fascinating career as an author, reporter, and journalist with Al Jazeera, Sky, BBC and ITN, including the time he went head-to-head with disgraced former FIFA President Sepp Blatter and reporting live on one of the biggest sporting shocks of all time, Leicester City’s Premier League triumph of 2015/16.
In addition, our popular matchday commentary duo of Freddie Humphry-Wakefield and Benji Wyatt will provide an insight into their first season with the club, and how the experience with our media team has helped them with the development of their own careers.
Doors open at 7pm, the bar will be open, so come on down to the CWCS for promises to be an interesting and entertaining evening.
