Ashtanga Yoga Beginners Course Level 1.

Our next Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Beginners Course will be held at our studio in the centre of Horsham and on Zoom.

This well-established course is designed to provide new students with the foundations of yoga, such as postural, breathing, focussing, meditative and relaxation practices.

4 weeks with about 20 hours of theory and practice:
- 3 x 2h Saturday sessions at 10:00am (Dec 5, 12, 19)
- 8 x 1h30-1h45 weekday classes during 4-5 week. Any class on our schedule can be attended.

Course Modules-
- Breathwork of yoga (pranayama).
- Sequences of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
- Foundations of postural (asana) yoga practise Ujjayi - victorious breathing; Dristi - the yogic gaze technique; Bandha - energy locks; vinyasa counted and concentration methods.
- Relaxation practices of yoga.

After even one week of practising with us, you will be able to create an independent home practice of yoga to stay resilient, calm and more content.

Maximum 6 students at our studio in the centre of Horsham and 6 on Zoom. Welcome novices to yoga, those who are new to the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and yoga returners.

No prerequisites are needed at all. Just a desire to become healthier and add wellbeing and joy into your life.

The course will be led by Irina Pashkevich Bourdier, the founder of Iriness and Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
