This event has already taken place!
This is a one-day, in-depth course designed for students who are studying A level Biology or Chemistry, or considering these subjects at A level. Anyone contemplating applying for university to study Medicine, Dentistry, Health courses or the Biosciences would find this day relevant. It is a medical-based course set in a mobile operating theatre. Over the course of the day, students will dissect real anatomical specimens and, in so doing, develop a comprehensive understanding of how the human body works. This is matched to the A level Biology specification with careers in health/medicine as a focus.
This ‘Live Dissection’ event which will be held in the Sports Hall; it will cost £42.
