About the event:
There will be two bands performing, one at at 11am - 1pm and one at 2pm - 4pm, every Saturday from May to August, town centre events permitting.
About the band:
Copthorne Silver Band is a brass band with over 100 years history. This very friendly non-contesting village band is close to Crawley in West Sussex, just 1 mile off the M25 south of Gatwick.
We play a wide variety of music to suit all occasions. Our functions include local fayres, flower shows, bandstands, churches and other community venues.
In addition we are available to play at private functions: including wedding anniversaries, big birthdays and weddings!
The lifeblood of any musical group is its players, therefore we are always pleased to welcome new musicians into our midst. Players of all ages and abilities are encouraged to come along and meet us.
We especially welcome young people who may have begun learning a brass instrument at school and wish to gain further skills and experience in an adult group.
