This is a monthly Saturday workshop, exploring yogic breathing and energy expansion called Pranayama. We designed it for both complete beginners and more experienced practitioners and yoga teachers. It aims to help you recognise your breathing patterns and use the tools of yoga to help you balance in this stressful world, feeling more centred, healthy and aligned with your intentions. Guided by the Senior yoga teacher and Teachers trainer Irina Pashkevich and accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals as a CPD programme for yoga teachers.
We’ll explore the philosophy and techniques of classical yoga Kriya (cleansing) and Pranayama (energy expansion). Among them: Kapalabhati, Nauli, Jala Neti, Nadi Shuddhi, Nadi Shoddhana, Chanda Bhedana, Surya Bhedana, Bhramari, mudras, bandhas and more.
Each workshop will introduce new practices and revise ones presented in the previous sessions.
You’ll be provided with the materials to assist your home practice between our events.
Who is it for
All are welcome: complete beginners, experienced yogis and yoga teachers.
Irina Pashkevich Bourdier, the founder of Iriness is a Senior Yoga Teacher as well as Teachers’ Trainer Pro and Yoga coach with Yoga Alliance Professionals. Irina has been a steadfast dedicated yoga practitioner for over 20 years and a teacher since 2008. When and where
This workshop will normally take place on the 3rd Saturday of the month at Iriness Yoga Horsham: Victoria house, Victoria str, RH13 5DZ, Horsham. It will be transmitted online as well and recorded.
Course investment is £30. There is no cancellation since both online and recorded options are available.
