Christ's Hospital Choral Society perform Elgar’s The Spirit of England, one of his lesser-known works.
This large-scale work, a requiem in intention, was first performed in October 1917, and sets three war poems by Lawrence Binyon, including For the Fallen.
Alongside Elgar, the choir will sing a memorial work by another great English composer - the Funeral Sentences by Henry Purcell.
Tickets: Adults £11, Concessions £10, Children £6
