Join us in Horsham Library for 'Books Light Up Your Life', our Horsham District Year of Culture finale and celebration of the end of the reading challenge.
This year, West Sussex Libraries ran a reading challenge in all Horsham district libraries (Horsham, Storrington, Steyning, Henfield, Billingshurst, Pulborough and Southwater). Over 200 people joined us to take on the challenge and pick up some new reads, and we kept the conversation going in our Facebook group and by posting your reviews on our blog.
To celebrate the end of the challenge, we’re inviting local readers to join us in Horsham Library on 12 December for an informal evening to chat about what you’ve read this year and share your favourite reads over a festive drink and a mince pie. Local authors Juliet West, Julia Crouch and William Shaw will be returning to join us as guests, and everyone who comes along on the night will be entered into a prize draw to win an exciting book-related prize!
