Cyanotype Printmaking: Botanical Postcards

A little bit of nature’s photography and a whole lot of botanical beauty!
Join us for a hands-on cyanotype workshop inspired by nature, where you’ll create your own beautifully blue postcards using this historic photographic printmaking process.
With artist and author Chelsea Barton as your guide, you’ll learn the brief history of cyanotype, how the process works, and how to capture delicate natural details using watercolour paper, a light-sensitive solution, and UV light — no camera required.
This workshop is welcoming to all skill levels, with easy, approachable techniques that make cyanotype both relaxing and rewarding for beginners and experienced makers alike.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with at least three finished postcards to keep, gift, or send. If inspiration strikes and time allows, you’re welcome to make even more during the workshop.

Forest Bathing

Emma Weaver leads regular soothing Forest Bathing experiences, guiding you on a slow-paced circular walk of around 5–5.5 km through our woodlands. In small, intimate groups, you’ll pause at several points along the trail for sensory and mindfulness exercises designed to calm a busy mind and deepen your connection with nature. These gentle invitations support relaxation, wellbeing and a more present, grounded state as you move through the forest.
Forest bathing is a relaxing outdoor spa for the mind providing many benefits to health and well-being.
