Settle into stillness and find balance as you prepare for longer evenings, quieter mornings and colder temperatures. Replenish your energy levels and downregulate your nervous system to help cultivate openness to the change of seasonal rhythms.
We will begin with gentle movement focused around our joints in order to relax our sympathetic nervous system, moving onto pranayama to connect to the parasympathetic (rest and digest) part of our nervous system. From there, we will move into deeper restorative poses, providing the opportunity to release tension through the whole body.
The session will finish with a guided yoga nidra, which achieves the ultimate feeling of relaxation through aiming to target a state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep, bliss!
