Horsham Museum and Art Gallery offers an Object Identification service. If you have found something and you don't know what it is, or perhaps want a second opinion, please bring it to the museum.
Whilst the museum staff can identify archaeological remains, we are fortunately host to the Sussex Finds Liaison Officer (FLO), who attends every three months.
The FLO is next attending the museum on Saturday 30 November 2019 and 29 February 2020..
Between 11am-3pm The FLO hosts appointments and between 3pm-4pm drop-ins are welcomed.
Finders can book an appointment directly at flo@sussexpast.co.uk or the telephone 01273 405731.
From 3-4 people can pop in freely to drop-off finds, but please let the FLO know in advance if you would like finds returned.
