The Schola Cantorum, accompanied by strings and continuo, presents an abridged version of Henry Purcell and John Dryden’s King Arthur, which tells of the hero’s conquest, on St George’s Day,
of Oswald, King of Kent. A number of movements will feature
solos from members of the choir.
