Big Nibble Festival Local Produce Market, managed by ‘Horsham Markets’ – Carfax – 10am to 4pm

Visitors can look forward to a huge produce market in Horsham’s Carfax between 10am and 4pm with a diverse mix of local producers offering breads, cheeses, cakes, confectionary, chutneys and ciders plus many other tempting products. There will also be hot food and an arts and crafts section.

International & Local Live Cookery Theatre – Carfax – 10.30 - 3.30pm

The live cookery theatre will be extended to cover Sunday this year to allow more demonstations from local producers in the demonstration kitchen, opposite Panino Cafe in the Town Centre.

The high spec kitchen will be used on the big day by a fantastic lineup of 11 local chefs demonstrating delicious dishes with their favourite local produce and sharing some tips from their professional kitchens. From tasty main courses to quick and easy desserts, come along and be entertained and inspired with how to make the most of local produce.

The programme is professionally compered by foodie Hilary Knight, founder of Sussex Food and Drink Network. Hilary works with chefs and food and drink producers from across Sussex and will be engaging with the public and interacting with demonstrators on the day, teasing out their top tips.

Whilst visitors will witness cooking at its very best, there will certainly be opportunities for free tasters.

The Little Nibble Children’s Food Festival – The Forum – 10am to 4pm

Returning for 2016, Horsham District Council have teamed up with Sussex food events firm Food Rocks to create The Little Nibble Children’s Food Festival - a free to enter day of foodie fun and education based in and around The Forum.

FREE Family Cookery Classes with The Kitchen Academy. Children of all ages and their parents can create a range of healthy and delicious dishes in a mobile professional kitchen. On the day registration strongly recommended as spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
FREE cookery demonstrations and food experiments with MasterChef champion Steven Edwards.
FREE Recipes from the brand new Gruffalo Crumble cookbook with a visit from The Gruffalo himself!
FREE Crazy Foodie Figure Competition. Children can get creative and make crazy figures out of fruit, vegetables and other food items. Amazing prizes for the best figures.
FREE creative play with Bigjig Toys wooden kitchen and food.
Awesome street food with child sized portions available.

Exploring Asian Cuisine with Wagamama and Pottery Painting with The Ceramic Shack
‘The Naughty Corner’ - a selection of naughty delicious street treats from around the world including Spanish Churros, Belgium Waffles, Italian Gelato and French Crepes.

Horsham Historic Bus Rally Partnership - Hop Oast & Carfax – 10am to 4pm

From 10am and throughout the day, there will be a free Town Centre loop service - Number 89 - operating from Horsham’s Carfax to Hop Oast Park and Ride, offering the chance to ride free of charge on a selection of historic buses.

There will also be trips to and from Steyning, Henfield and Partridge Green on the 69/79 and buses to Billingshurst, Pulborough, Storrington and Southwater on the 49/59.

At Hop Oast, where there will be a static display of around 30 classic and modern buses with stalls for the family and collector alike.

Horsham Beer Trail – Across Horsham – 11am to 5pm

The Horsham Beer trail returns again this year on both days of the Big Nibble. Start your tasting journey from the Hepworth’s Beer Tent in the Carfax, where you can pick up your passport and taster glass and discover Horsham District’s finest beer and cider producers! Entry is just £2 and if you complete the trail you can hand in your passport in at the Black Jug to be entered into a prize draw to win a fantastic meal.

International Food Festival - Bishopric - 10am to 4pm

The TajRiba event will bring a flavour of African arts, crafts, cultural dance and food to Horsham.
