Horsham Writers' Circle presents a writing workshop led by Tracy Fells, the award-winning fiction writer and 2017 Commonwealth Writers Short Story Winner (Europe/Canada) in two parts 'Writing for Competitions: Writing Flash Fiction'.
Suitable for writers of all levels and genres - whether you’re already published, addicted to flashing or just starting to write short stories - this is an overview of Flash Fiction (very short stories) and where to submit. Tracy will share her successes in writing for competitions from both the perspective of an entrant and as a judge.
There will be some short writing exercises, so please bring pen and paper if you want to join in. By the end of the session you could leave with a 75-word flash story ready to submit. Tickets £8 available in advance from the desk at the Library or £10 on the door.
