Horsham District Council, alongside Royal British Legion, will be marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a host of commemorations on June 6.
There will be a special bell-ringing event at St Mary's Church, Horsham between 6.30-7pm entitled 'Ringing Out For Peace'.
Prayers, led by Revd Canon Lisa Barnett, will take place at the Carfax bandstand from 7.15pm followed by a performance from authentic sounding vintage trio The Spinettes from 7.30pm-9pm.
The band will perform a wide selection of war time favourites and retro hits from the 1940s to present day.
Finally, a poignant Light a Beacon ceremony will take place at 9.15pm
