Rolls Royce Merlin Engine Run.
The Wings Aviation Museum is very proud to announce that a 1943 Halifax Rolls Royce Merlin engine from Halifax JD150, which was recovered from a bog in Germany in 2010, will run at the Wings Museum on Special Engine Run Days in 2025.
This is a rare opportunity to hear the sound of a Halifax Merlin engine complete with its “Saxophone” style exhausts.
This is also a chance to meet and talk to the members of “Squadron X“, a WWII RAF Living History Group keeping alive the memories of the men and women of Bomber Command.
