It Runs in the Family
It Runs in the Family
Manor Theatre Group proudly presents their new production of "It Runs in the Family", written by the legendary Ray Cooney, Britain's master farceur.
Set in a hospital, It Runs in the Family contains the usual assortment of farcical nuts running in and out of doors mistaking everybody for someone else, as Dr. Mortimore tries to fend off a paternity suit, an ex wife, a punkish son and various other lunatics so that he may, at last, deliver the Ponsonby Lecture in an international conference.
Count among them another doctor, who likes to dress up in drag, a police sergeant who gets spritzed with seltzer by an elderly patient in and out of a wheelchair, and a matron, addressed as Matron when she isn't being called an "old bat."
It Runs in the Family is performing at North Heath hall, St Marks Lane, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 5PU on Friday 26th May, Saturday 27th May and Sunday 28th May 2017. For Map, please click here.
