Manor Theatre Group

About Manor Theatre Group:

Manor have been producing shows in the Horsham District for 35 years. Finding a home in North Heath Hall, they have also performed at The Capitol in Horsham, Billingshurst Village Hall, Warnham Village Hall, as well as smaller venues such as The Holbrook Club, upon request.

Back in 1980, Manor Theatre Group started out in Manor House in the Causeway, formerly used by the RSPCA, and for a time the actors used the Old Town Hall for rehearsals.

Usually producing three shows in a year, Manor's year is always busy. Whether it is a massive ensemble piece - often a musical - in Spring, or a Murder Mystery, or a farce, or our famous home-written pantomimes that dominate our December; we keep ourselves busy.

Manor Theatre Group have also been involved in other big projects in the South, not least of these being our award winning performance at the Leatherhead Drama Festival in 2010, where their award was presented by none other than Sir Michael Caine.

Another big project saw several Manor Theatre members writing and staging their work at the Minerva Theatre in Chichester.

If this sounds like the busy, but friendly group you would like to be a part of, we are always looking for new members: on or offstage, front or back of house. Just drop us a quick e-mail at manortheatregroup@gmail.com and we will be more than happy to welcome you.
