We just love the history within these walls here at The Kings and we love hearing all your stories and memories from the past. Particularly, the great stories from the old King and Barnes days, with the Kings being the tap room for the brewery.
A few weeks back, we found this beaut of a bottle…
THE LAST CAST from King and Barnes brewery! People have been astounded to see the bottle in such great condition (even though none of them have dared try it!) This, along with lots of other memorabilia we have found, has sparked the inspiration behind the celebration event we are hosting later this summer…
On Saturday 28th August, we will be hosting a King and Barnes Brewery celebration event in our garden and you are all more than welcome to join us for the afternoon/evening. Share stories and memories from the fantastic brewery, The Kings Arms, the Bishopric and Horsham as it was many years ago. What better time than now. Last year, it would have been 20 years since the last cask!
Please feel free to bring along any photos, memorabilia and anything else to the Kings Arms, Horsham on this day, it would be great to reminisce and share with each other.
