Stradivarius Piano Trio perform music to include Schubert’s ‘Trout Quintet’ and Shipley Arts Festival’s Wilding commission “Knepp Piano Trio” by Roderick Williams OBE. Includes a bubbly Nyetimber reception.
Knepp Castle is the UK leader for Wilding along with the many farms and estates across the deeply agricultural County of West Sussex. We have been performing the Wilding Concert for over fifteen years and the Festival and Wilding have developed alongside each other in the heart of Shipley, West Sussex.
The Wilding is reflected throughout our music and we are delighted to share some of the world’s finest music with a programme which brings together the beauty of our surroundings in the Wilding corridor of Sussex which emanates from the UK’s and Europe’s Wilding pioneers in Charlie and Issy Burrell.
This evening we share the ‘Trout Quintet’ by Schubert from our very first Wilding Concert alongside our specially commissioned ‘Knepp Piano Trio’ by Roderick Williams OBE which particularly reflects the Turtle Doves resident on the Estate.
