Come along and explore the different sides of yoga in this workshop aimed specifically at teenagers.
It’s common to undergo immense physical and emotional changes as a teen, which can be extremely stressful, and the skills and lessons that can be acquired through yoga are invaluable.
The 2 hour workshop will be an introduction to the practice of yoga.
Physically we will focus on both stretching and strengthening, as well as improving balance.
We will also focus on techniques to help calm the mind and nervous system, manage stress and balance the different aspects of life as a teen.
This will include relaxation through breath awareness and mindfulness.
