Prepare your taste buds for a spectacular celebration of local flavour! The 'Big Nibble' is taking over Horsham town centre’s Carfax on Sunday, 6 September 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Organised by Food Rocks and Horsham District Council, this year's event builds on the incredible success of the 2025 Sussex Six market to showcase the absolute best of Sussex food and drink.
What to Expect
Residents and visitors are invited to explore and enjoy:
* A Vibrant Produce Market: Discover and sample incredible regional food and drink from local vendors.
* Live Cookery Theatre: Watch top Sussex chefs in action, hosted by renowned food guru Hilary Knight.
* Family Entertainment: The Little Notes’ "fruit and veg band" returns to the Carfax bandstand, bringing
interactive musical fun for young children and their families.
* A Sweet Centenary: To celebrate 100 years of a very famous honey-loving bear, the festival will feature a special, expanded showcase of local Sussex honey products.

The Big Nibble perfectly pairs with the Horsham Tap & Vine Takeover Weekend. Brought to you by Firebird Brewery, Your Horsham, and Visit Horsham, this overlapping event will see 17 pubs and venues across the town championing local drinks and celebrating Horsham’s vibrant hospitality scene all weekend long.
