An 80-year-old man, Anthony (Tony) Bishop from Henfield, has achieved his goal of walking from John O’Groats to Lands End, a distance of some 850 miles.
Tony set off from John O’Groats on 31 August and arrived at Lands Ends on 31 October.
It's yet to be formally confirmed by Guinness World Records, but this achievement should make Tony the oldest person to walk from John O’Groats to Lands End
