About this event
Postponed until 2027: Elf Adventures has announced that Reindeer Flight School will not run in 2026, after its creator broke her collarbone days before the build was due to start.
Reindeer Flight School
Dashing into Swan Walk Shopping Centre, Horsham this festive season! Father Christmas has officially authorised a North Pole Flight Academy - the first Reindeer Flight School ever to open outside Lapland.
Straight from the North Pole, Turbo & Gasket, Santa's most excitable (and mildly chaotic) Chief Flying Instructors, are on their way with pockets full of magic and a stack of official Sleigh Licences for all who pass. Elf Recruits complete a whirlwind of silly, giggly and all-round daft challenges to prove they are worthy of their North Pole Sleigh Flying Licence.
Once inside, families will discover:
- The personalities and powers of each of the BIG 9
- The art of steering the sleigh through blizzards
- Rooftop sneaking techniques
- Crucial midnight reindeer snack protocol (VERY important)
- An all-round exciting insight into the mad world of ridiculous elf antics
Every child graduate leaves with a personalised Sleigh Licence, a hand-made bag of Magic Reindeer Food, a certificate and bragging rights for the entire elf community. The first 30 children to sign up will receive a surprise gift.
December 2026: Sat 5th & Sun 6th, Tues 8th & Wed 9th, Sat 12th & Sun 13th, Mon 14th, Thurs 17th & Fri 18th, Sat 19th & Sun 20th, Mon 21st, Tues 22nd, Wed 23rd & Thurs 24th. Session times and tickets are released to the Priority List first - sign up on the Elf Adventures website.
A fully immersive, actor-led group experience lasting about an hour, with flashing lights, music and possible loud noises. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Please note this is not a Santa's Grotto and Father Christmas will not make an appearance.
Location: Swan Walk Shopping Centre, Horsham (the former Wilko unit) - enter via Swan Walk, there is no access from the High Street entrance.
