Welcome to Coco's Foundation – a registered charity whose aim is "to make the world a better place for young people full of hope and happiness through choice".
We do this with the help of people like you from community groups, businesses, schools and youth groups. So far, with your help, we have raised money for many building projects including building houses and a community hall. We have supplied school uniforms and clothed, fed and provided professional emotional support to the children of KwaZulu Natal region and Port Elizabeth.
Set up just two years ago by West Sussex businessman Chris Connors, The Foundation is funded entirely by donations and every single penny goes to one of The Foundation's main projects.
There are many ways you can support and get involved in The Foundation's work.
Raise the money to join our Trustees on a trip to South Africa and help build a home for orphaned children.
You can drop your textiles and clothing to any one of our salons.
The textiles are collected by the national recycling initiative "Phil the bag". The money raised buys school uniforms, shoes and beds in South Africa.
Until 2015, 320 children have received school uniform enabling them to go to school.
Donate £1 a month by completing our standing order. Your £1 supplies 20 meals.
Until 2015 we have supplied over 528,000 meals. Since October 2014, 500 children are fed at school daily in our breakfast club. Two Boar Holes now support two Community gardens providing local employment and self sufficiency. We are currently funding three more community gardens with the aim of creating a local CoOperative.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.
