About Southwater Country Park:
Southwater country park was formed following the closure of Southwater's brickworks, which had been in production from the late 19th century until 1981.
A popular destination for local people and visitors from further afield, Southwater Country Park offers watersports, fishing, nature trails, and a children's play area themed as a 'Dinosaur Island.'
Located on the Downs Link, Southwater County Park includes a visitor centre with a café serving hot food and drinks.
