Record breaking father and son cycling duo welcomed back to Horsham

A father and son team, George and Josh Kohler, cycled into Horsham onTuesday, 28th April as they completed the final stage of their ride around the world setting a few world records in the process.

George and Josh set off from the UK last March, 2025 and cycled across Europe, Central Asia, China, down the South East Asian peninsula, across Australia (including the challenging Nullarbor desert), up New Zealand, across the Andes and the width of South America and then onto Lisbon. They stopped off in Horsham, before pedalling on through central London on their way home to Norfolk.

They have already raised an unbelievable £33,000 for UNICEF, the United Nations’ children’s charity. When they arrived back home after 400 days in the saddle, they had cycled an incredible 30,000 kms and travelled through no less than 31 countries.

These facts should help them set three new Guinness World Records™️ as the fastest circumnavigation, furthest distance and most countries visited by a father and son duo on bikes.

Along with a massive amount of planning, this has been their greatest trial of physical and mental strength. Yet not for  the first time have George and Josh embarked on an epic adventure as previously they have ridden from John O'Groats to Land's End, then on another trip they cycled right across the USA for another charity.

As they have pedalled around the world, both George and Josh have been humbled by the sheer generosity and kindness of strangers. They have also amassed a considerable following on social media, with many followers being delighted and inspired by their fortitude and resilience as they have faced the challenges of their adventure.
