Horsham Museum to open its Christmas Shop during the current temporary closure

Good news for Christmas shoppers: Horsham Museum & Art Gallery is opening its shop on Wednesdays and Saturdays this December, while the rest of the building stays closed for essential roof repairs.

A welcome back, of sorts

The Museum on the Causeway closed in September so specialists can repair its historic roof, and the galleries will stay shut until Tuesday, 5th January 2027. But the team are welcoming visitors back to part of the building for seven special Christmas Shop openings.

Gifts with a Horsham story

The shop is stocked with Horsham-themed gifts and items by local makers, including mouth-watering Horsham Gingerbread, locally made preserves and ceramics by a local pottery artist. It's a good place to find a present with a local connection.

Opening dates

The Christmas Shop is open from 10am to 4pm on:

• Wednesday, 2nd December
• Saturday, 5th December
• Wednesday, 9th December
• Saturday, 12th December
• Wednesday, 16th December
• Saturday, 19th December
• Wednesday, 23rd December

The galleries remain closed while the roof work continues. When the Museum reopens on 5th January, visitors can look forward to a new costume gallery, a refreshed Age of Discovery gallery and a new introductory space.
