12 Horsham businesses set to strip for a charity Naked Calendar
Horsham’s local businesses were quick to respond for a call to strip for a charity naked calendar based in Horsham.
The Calendar is the brainchild of Liam Stanbridge a Senior Sales Consultant at Brock Taylor. Its aim is to raise awareness for Cancer research (in particular breast and testicular), and the Be Real Campaign (supporting people with body confidence issues), and in the process raise as much money for them as possible.
The calendar will of course be tasteful and follow in a long-line of similar calendars that have successfully, and often humorously, supported deserving charities since the Woman’s Institute first launched there ‘alternative’ calendar back in the first year of the new millennium.
Liam introduced the idea of the calendar on the Horsham Facebook Page and his call for participants generated a huge response. There were well over 300 replies and many businesses expressed an interest in taking part.
Brock Taylor and Black Rose had already committed to the project so Liam had to select ten businesses from those that had come forward.
After much deliberation and toing and froing, Liam selected the following businesses to each represent one month of the calendar.
1. Brock Taylor
2. Black Rose
3. Crates Local
4. DUAL strength and fitness
5. Harris Lord
6. Brit Web
7. La Vida Boutique
8. Pretty Things
9. The Gallery
10. Wooton & Bean
11 UpBeat Dance Company
12 AAA2B
This list does not represent the order in which they will appear on the calendar, that is yet to be finalised.
Shooting will take place in the middle of 2020 by the well-known, local professional photographer Toby Phillips.
If all goes to plan the calendar will be on sale in the middle of next year - with the Horsham community already firmly behind it we have no doubt the launch will be highly anticipated and will be on many people’s wish-list for Christmas 2020.
