The Malt Shovel, a popular Horsham pub which closed last year, is set to reopen.
North and South Leisure, the owners of the King's Arms in Horsham, have stepped in and purchased the building from the Stonegate Brewery Group, which had been on the verge of selling to a property developer planning to convert it to flats.
The new owners are planning to reopen the Malt Shovel in February, a decision that has proved immensely popular with Horsham residents.
