Following the announcement of the ambitious Outdoor Programme partnership utilising previously unused woodland at Horsham Rugby Club, Marlow Sports and Woods for Learning CIC have announced an Open Morning and a competition for children to "Name the Woods".

The competition "Name the Woods" is open to any child under 12. A team of judges comprising of Visit Horsham members will choose the winning name.

The winner will receive a family membership to Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens. In addition, Runners-up will receive 'goodie bags' donated by the judges.

To enter the competition,  parents, guardians (or other adults) simply need to add the suggested name for the woods to the pinned Facebook post, along with the name and age of the child entering (the surname and age can be submitted via private message if preferred).

Children are also welcome to submit a drawing or logo with their name, but it is not a requirement for entry.
